Christmas had gone as expected. Wyn was shoved into a fluffy dress that she despised, Westley was the only nice sibling she had (which, she already knew, so duh), and her parents were insufferable.
So all in all, pretty well. Pretty normal.
Pretty boring.
Wyn was not particularly excited to study astrology late at night when she just wanted to sleep or read, but she spotted Rhia (whom she'd had an interesting encounter with at the Carnival) and thought that maybe, just slightly perhaps, this wouldn't be so bad.
It wasn't that Wyn thought astrology was dumb--she supposed it might have some basis in magical or scientific study, but she figured it was shaped by people rather than it shaping people. Which was a weird idea to think about, but pretty cool.
"I agree," Wyn said with a sigh. Rhia gave her a look like she didn't want to be bothered, but honestly? If Wynonna had to do this, she was going to drag someone down with her, and it might as well be a somewhat-friend-accquaintance-person. "I'd much rather be sleeping right now but apparently this is the education I signed up for. But I guess we should just get it over with." She sat down next to Rhia, and huffed quietly before pulling out her textbook. "I'm a Capricorn, apparently. What about you?"
